Man in hospital after van and bicycle crash near Sandwich

A cyclist was taken to hospital after a crash between a van and his bike.
It happened on the A257 near Sandwich early this morning.
Police and ambulance attended the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving a van and a bicycle at around 6.30am.
"Officers attended the scene.
"A man sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment."
