MP Laura Sandys has welcomed a £4.6m boost to Discovery Park in Sandwich.
The funding has come from the South East Local Enterprise Partnership and will work to improve the site's infrastructure, including roads, power lines and sewerage.
Ms Sandys said: "I am delighted that Discovery Park has been awarded such a significant amount of investment, particularly as the site is marking its second anniversary.
"Our enterprise zone is one of the most successful in the country and is really going from strength to strength, with almost 100 businesses now calling the site home.
"This investment in the site’s infrastructure is excellent news and is important as the number of employees based there continues to grow.”
The news that the science and business park, based at the former Pfizer site, would receive the funding was announced as Discovery Park celebrated its second birthday last Thursday.
