10:05, 12 June 2017
Water from a nearby lake helped firefighters to extinguish an outbuilding fire in Marshborough in Sandwich, yesterday.
Crews who were called to the incident at 1pm used main jets and water supplied from a nearby open water source to try and put the unexplained blaze out.
But the building had already been destroyed by the flames as well as caused damage to an adjacent shed.
A spokesman said: “There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is not yet known.”
They left the scene at 2.23pm.
