A257 blocked after tractor and lorry collides between Pedding Lane, Ash, and Rusham Road, Wingham

A busy road was closed for nine hours after a lorry and a tractor were involved in a collision.
The A257 was shut both ways near Sandwich, from Pedding Lane, Ash, to Rusham Road, Wingham.
Police and the air ambulance were called to the scene at 1.25pm and a man was flown to a London hospital.
Kent Highways tweeted at 3.20pm to warn motorists about the closure.
Recovery of the vehicles and accident investigation work took place in the road.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called to a report of a collision between a tractor and a lorry on the A257 near Shatterling at 1.25pm."
"Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and an air ambulance and a man was flown to a London hospital."
The road re-opened at 10.15pm.
