Cuddle Earth clean up at Sandwich Bay Beach will fight plastic pollution with Custom Toys UK

Help wave goodbye to plastic pollution in our seas by taking part in a beach clean in Sandwich on Sunday.

Custom Toys UK, based in Sandwich, has organised the clear up as part of its new project, Cuddle Earth.

It will be held from 10am until noon on Sunday, January 27 in conjucntion with with marine conservation charity Surfers Against Sewage and local environmental group Deal With It.

Christian Chodecki, Cuddle Earth’s project manager said: “Sandwich Bay has been chosen due to the harmful effects the plastic is having on the habitat for seals and nesting birds."

The clean up will begin at the beach at Princes Drive.

All are welcome including dogs. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Equipment will be provided.
