Resident of Old Rectory care home rescued by KFRS from a roof in Sandwich Road, Ash

A woman was rescued from the roof of a three-storey building in Ash on Monday night.
Ramsgate and Sandwich firefighters were called at 10pm to an building on Sandwich Road to assist a woman on the roof.
A height vehicle was employed and police and an ambulance were also in attendance.
The woman was returned to the ground safely and was not injured.
A KFRS spokesman said: "We have no details as to who she was or why she was on the roof."
Kent Police confirmed the woman was a resident of the care home on Sandwich Road, believed to be the Old Rectory care home.
