Sevenoaks: Man remanded in custody after six burglary offences

A 47-year-old has been remanded in custody after a hearing before magistrates.
Gary Ponder appeared in front of Maidstone Magistrates today, charged with six offences.
Ponder, of no fixed address, was arrested on Saturday in Maidenhead, in connection with offences in the Sevenoaks area.
He has been charged with burglaries in New Barn Road, Swanley; Hodsoll Street, Sevenoaks; Main Road, Edenbridge; Tonbridge Road, Ightham; and other offences in Bromley and Leamington Spa.
The offences were committed in November and January.
At the hearing, the 47-year-old was remanded further to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, February 27.
Thomas Webber, a 25-year-old from Coventry, was also charged with the burglaries in Ightham and Sevenoaks last week.
He appeared in front of Maidstone magistrates last Monday, and was taken back into custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, February 20.
