Arrest after man stabbed in Cedar Drive, Edenbridge

A man has been arrested after a stabbing in a street.
The victim was walking with a friend in Cedar Drive, Edenbridge when he was approached and assaulted by another man known to him.
The incident happened at around 7.40pm yesterday and the 20-year-old victim suffered a knife wound.
He was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Later the same night, officers arrested a 19-year-old man from Edenbridge on suspicion of assault and he was taken into custody.
Police say there will be increased patrols in the area while inquiries continue.
Investigators are seeking witnesses and are urging anybody with information to call the police appeal line.
Motorists with dashcam footage and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for footage that may help.
