Sevenoaks: Cyclist 'impaled' on fence railings near the Vine Cricket Ground

A cycling accident left 13-year-old boy impaled on a metal pole in Sevenoaks.
Firefighters and paramedics descended on Vine Avenue, near Vine Cricket Ground just after 9pm last night.
It is reported the wheel of the teenager's bike got caught on rope used to fence off the playing field and when he fell the iron rod pierced his leg.
Crews from two ambulances attended the scene as well as the air ambulance.
The casualty was taken to Pembury Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
