Crash leaves car on roof outside the Knole Academy in Sevenoaks
15:50, 03 September 2015
Emergency services were called to a car on its roof in Sevenoaks this afternoon.
Two vehicles collided in Bradbourne Vale Road at 2.25pm.
Police and paramedics remain at the scene.
Kent Fire & Rescue Service were also called to the accident but the occupant of the overturned vehicle was able to leave the car unaided.
The incident happened by the entrance to Knole Academy just before the end of the school day.
There were no reports of any serious injuries.
In November 2014 traffic was brought to a standstill on the same road after a collision between a lorry and a council vehicle.
Bradbourne Vale Road Residents’ Association have been campaigning for several years to make the road safer for the hundreds of schoolchildren and adults who have to cross it daily.
