Drink driving, assault and burglary are among the cases heard at Kent and Medway magistrates' courts this week.

George Cornhill admitted drink driving his Mercedes Benz in Victoria Road, Tunbridge Wells and failing to provide a breath specimen on Saturday, July 2.
The 34-year-old of High Street, Sevenoaks, was banned from driving for 21 months and must pay a £500 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Sadie Coombs of Twitton Meadows, Otford pled guilty to driving a VW Golf without a licence or insurance and stealing food worth £102.29 from a supermarket in Church Road, Paddock Wood on Monday, April 4. Magistrates handed the 37-year-old a 112 day prison sentence suspended for 18 months. She must also pay an £80 victim surcharge.

Jack Haycraft of New Road, Tonbridge, admitted three counts of burglary, breaking into garages in Mill Lane, Sevenoaks and taking tools and other materials worth £1,800. The 28-year-old was handed a prison sentence of 182 days, suspended for 18 months and a three-month curfew to remain at home between 8pm and 8am until October 26 2016. He must also pay £1,085 compensation.

Adam Goodacre of Masefield Way, Tonbridge admitted one count of actual bodily harm (ABH) after assaulting a man in the Pavilion on Tuesday, February 9 2016. Magistrates handed the 37-year-old a 26-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months. He was also ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay £2,200 compensation.
