A diamond watch and pearl earrings were stolen after thieves broke into a Penshurst home and made off with the safe.
Officers have now released CCTV from a previous suspicious incident at the same Grove Road address, which is being linked to the recent burglary.
It is believed that shortly after midnight on Friday intruders gained access to the grounds of the property, before using a ladder to enter an upstairs window.
The burglary was discovered at around 9.30am and police were called.
Stolen items are said to have included a distinctive Harry Winston women's watch diamonds, a charm bracelet with a pair of scissors, London Tower Bridge and Swiss chalet charms.
Designer Boodle bracelets with pearls on, Boodle earrings, and a sovereign were also among possessions taken.
