Commuters are tonight facing long delays and experiencing "dangerous" crowds due to delays out of London Bridge.

Southeastern Trains has said it is accepting Southern Rail tickets to Tunbridge Wells.

Passengers waiting on the platform are reporting their concern at large crowds that have built up at the station due to delayed and cancelled trains.

Many of the routes affected are operated by Southern Rail, which runs services to several towns in west Kent.

The train company blames "severe congestion" for the delays and cancellations, and is offering alternative routes to stranded commuters.

Other train companies including Thames Link and South West Trains are accepting Southern Rail tickets on "reasonable" routes.
