Long delays were reported following a crash on the M25.

All traffic was temporarily held in the anti-clockwise carriageway following the collision, between junction 4 for Orpington and junction 5 for Maidstone and the M26.

All lanes had re-opened by 6pm but Kent Highways continued to report delays long afterwards.

Highways England officials were called to the scene.
