Police are hunting the driver of a car which failed to stop and crashed into bushes last night.
Officers in Sevenoaks say the driver failed to stop for them and because of the wet weather conditions, the motorist crashed the car and then made off from the scene.
The black estate car is thought to have skidded off the road and ended up crashing into trees and bushes.
The incident happened at about 3.50am in Hosey Common Lane
The smash prompted officers @kentpolice7oaks to tweet a picture of the car to warn other motorists how wet the roads are this morning.
The tweet said: "#team4 had a driver who didn't want to stop for them last night and due to the weather conditions this happened.
"Be careful out there this morning, the roads are slippery.
"P.S would the driver of this vehicle like to come and say hello to us, we'd like a chat!"
Police spokesman James Walker, added: "A black BMW 325 is reported to have failed to stop when requested to do so by officers.
"The vehicle was located, abandoned, in Hosey Common Lane at 3.56am.
"An area search for the occupants took place and, at present, none have been located however inquiries remain ongoing."
