A man was taken to hospital after an accident closed a stretch of dual-carriageway.
The A21 Sevenoaks bypass was shut northbound between the junctions with the A225 and the M25 after a van left the road yesterday evening.
Both Kent Police and Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to deal with the incident.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 6.15pm regarding a report that a van had left the London-bound carriageway of the A21 near Sevenoaks.
"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a man received medical attention and was conveyed to a local hospital.
"The carriageway was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident."
A diversion route was put in place while the road was closed.
The road was reopened at about 9.30pm.
