Fire causes 'serious damage' to Sevenoaks flat

Firefighters are working to establish the cause of a fire which broke out in Sevenoaks yesterday (Sunday).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Camden Road at 4.41pm, where a fire had broken out inside a flat.
On arrival, crews used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, fog spikes and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear flames and smoke from the scene.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
A spokesperson from KFRS said: "The flat suffered serious fire damage whilst the rest of the building suffered extensive water and smoke damage. The cause of the fire isn't known at this stage.
The fire was out at 7.51pm, with crews remaining at the scene to assist with salvage, checking for hot spots and making the scene safe.
