Five fire engines were called to a large woodland blaze last night.

Crews were called to the incident off Bower Lane, Sevenoaks, at around 6.40pm.

At the height of the blaze, five fire engines were in attendance as well as a bulk water carrier and two multi-terrain vehicles.

A technical rescue unit was also called to the scene.

Dozens of fire fighters worked to extinguish the flames and check for any remaining hotspots before leaving at 9.20pm.

The cause is still unknown.
