Fire crews tackle car alight on A21 coast-bound carriageway by Sevenoaks

A car caught alight on the A21 and is causing major delays for motorists.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a car alight on the coastbound A21, near Sevenoaks, on the coast-bound carriageway.
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus and used hoses to extinguish the flames.
No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
The road was closed while fire services assisted however one lane has been opened and traffic is now able to pass. There was also an accident on the M25 which added to the congestion affecting traffic heading towards Sevenoaks.
Police spokesman, Vicki Foster said: "Police were called by Kent Fire and Rescue Service at 3.38pm to a report of a car on fire on the coastbound carriageway of the A21.
"A road closure is currently in place while the incident is attended to. No injuries have been reported."
