Further armed burglary suspects charged after raid at Sevenoaks home near Bradbourne Vale Road

Further suspects have been charged in connection with a violent burglary at a home where a resident was injured.

Police are investigating an alleged incident when a group of thieves allegedly armed with knives forced their way into a property in Sevenoaks.

They are reported to have stolen items including money and several mobile phones during the break-in on Sunday, August 28 near Bradbourne Vale Road.

On Monday, a search warrant was executed at an address in Lewisham.

Officers located two suspected firearms inside the property, as well as almost 300 wraps believed to contain crack cocaine.

Benjamin Rodriges, 19, of Gurney Road, Stratford, and Ismail Cassoma, 21, of Blessington Road, Lewisham, were both arrested.

They have been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, grievous bodily harm with intent and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

Delcio Paulo, 19, of Blessington Road, Lewisham was also arrested and charged. He faces allegations of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of a firearm.

All three appeared before magistrates in Medway today where they were held on remand to next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 30.

Last week, Kailum Dennis was arrested as part of an investigation by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad.

The 24-year-old of Lyham Road, Brixton was later charged with aggravated burglary, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause unlawful violence and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a machete.

He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court last Friday and was remanded in custody.

His next hearing will be at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
