Over 1,000 people headed to an 'un-plugged' festival held in woodland over the weekend.

Drinks company innocent - known for creating smoothies and juices - held its sold out, 'un-plugged' festival in the grounds of the St Clere Estate.

Guests were told to leave their phones at home, turn off Twitter and forget about Facebook for the big 'technology free' festival.

Wood-fired outdoor spas and foodie delights such as posh afternoon teas were on hand for some 1,500 guests to enjoy.

Without a selfie stick in sight or hashtag to remember, people were encouraged to unplug and dance away to bands on the main stage.

Headline acts included The Correspondents and DJ, Norman Jay.

Research carried out by innocent claims half of Brits admitted having missed something special at an event because they were fiddling with their phone.

A spokesman said: "innocent spotted a clear need to help encourage people to switch off and have fun for a weekend, and not have to worry about posting their every move online."

If you need another fix of technology-free fun, then National Un-Plugging Day is on June 28.
