M25 closed at junction 4 anticlockwise after lorries and coach crash
17:21, 15 June 2017
Part of the M25 reopened following a serious collision.
The crash, involving two lorries, three cars, and a coach, happened around 5pm on the anticlockwise carriageway.
The coach was carrying school children, but none have been injured.
The air ambulance attended, however, as the driver of one of the lorries has been injured.
The school, which is outside Kent, is aware of the accident and is keeping parents informed.
Police blocked the road at junction 4 for the A21 and Orpington.
Congestion was stretching back to junction 5 for the M26 and Sevenoaks.
There is reportedly a spillage on the carriageway, and Kent Fire and Rescue Service was also in attendance.
Traffic was directed to leave the carriageway using the slip-road, and drivers are warned to avoid the area if possible.
The road reopened in the early hours of the morning.
