Part of the M20 was closed due to a car fire.
Emergency crews dealt with the blaze between junctions 2 and 3.
The road was blocked for a short time, but reopened just after 5pm.
Delays have cleared.
A fire service spokesman said: "The M20 coastbound was closed for a short time while firefighters tackled a fire which had taken hold of a car between junctions 2 and 3.
"While a Highways England patrol managed the road closure, fire crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze with a hose reel jet.
"There are no reports of any injuries. Unfortunately, the car was completely destroyed by the fire."
