A suspected crack cocaine dealer has been charged after officers seized more than 1.4 kilograms of drugs along with a knuckle duster and other weapons from a house in Cowden.
Patrols from the Tunbridge Wells Community Policing Team stopped a Mercedes in Hartfield Road on Thursday and found a small quantity of powder, believed to be cocaine, after searching the car.
A further search was subsequently carried out a nearby address, linked to the driver, where officers found a bag stored inside a wardrobe.
Inside the bag were large quantities of suspected crack cocaine, as well as a knuckle duster, with a knife attachment.
Other smaller quantities of suspected drugs, as well as knives were found in other areas of the property.
Damian Mills, 33, of Cobbetts Way, Edenbridge, was arrested and later charged with possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.
He appeared, via virtual link, before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday and was remanded in custody.
He will next appear before Maidstone Crown Court on January 11.
