A man accused of murdering a father-of-two from Sevenoaks has been remanded in custody after appearing in court today.
Matthew 'Tik' Tester, who grew up in Kemsing, died after suffering fatal chest injuries on Thursday when he was struck by a BMW in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.

Shaan Mir, 26, of Arlington Lodge, in Weybridge, was charged with murder and the attempted murder of another man, also in his 40s, following the incident on April 22.
Mir appeared at Guildford Crown Court today to confirm his details and was remanded in custody. He is next due to appear at the same court on July 27.
Mr Tester, who previously attended Wildernesse School for Boys, now The Knole Academy, was hit by the vehicle in the car park of an M&S Foodhall.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man was airlifted to hospital but he is expected to recover.
The 49-year-old, who ran a scaffolding firm and was a dad of twin girls, grew up in Kent but had moved to neighbouring Surrey.
Mr Tester has been remembered by his friends and family as a doting dad who loved scooters.
He was widely known and loved within the scootering community, which has been rocked by the news of their friend’s death.
This affection has so far raised more than £12,000 from nearly 500 donations from the scooterists worldwide in a GoFundMe, and £23,000 from the various Just Giving pages set up to help the family.
