Police have launched a probe after people saw a car driving the wrong way along the M20.

Reports came in just after 9pm last night of a vehicle on the London-bound carriageway between junctions 2 for Wrotham and Sevenoaks, and junction 1 for Swanley and the M25.

The car was later found, and officers spoke to a man in his 70s at his home in the Gravesend area.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
