An Edenbridge man has been sentenced after drink driving with no insurance.
Alan Bowesman pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving with no insurance following an incident in Stick Hill on July 15.
The 50-year-old, of Cansiron Lane, Cowden, drove a Mercedes and when stopped gave a blood test of 190 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, over twice the legal limit.
He was sentenced on November, 12 and magistrates disqualified him from driving for 22 months. He was fined £160 and must also pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
Disqualification can be reduced by 170 days if, by January, 25 2016, he satisfactorily completes a Government-approved drink drive rehabilitation course, the cost of which will not exceed £250.?
