Herd of more than 60 cows spotted on Hever Railway Station platform in Sevenoaks, causing train delays
16:12, 16 April 2017
A large herd of cows was spotted on a country train station platform yesterday, much to the a-moo-sement of travellers.
The animals, thought to have escaped from nearby land, caused delays to Southern Rail trains from Hever Station - just one stop away from Cowden.
According to witnesses on National Rail, the drama broke out at 12.20pm.
Three hour delays to services between Hever and Uckfield were caused while the bovine blockages were dealt with and moved away from the lines.
Normal services had resumed by 4.30pm.
