One lane of the M26 J2A for Borough Green and the M25 J5 for Sevenoaks closed due to motorbike fire

One lane of motorway was closed after a motorbike set fire.
The bike caught alight between the M26 J2A for Borough Green and the M25 J5 for Sevenoaks at around 1pm Sunday.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze.
Highways teams closed one lane of the carriageway to recover the vehicle and repair the road surface.
Drivers were told to expect delays in the area.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: "KFRS was called to reports of a motorbike alight between the M26 J2A for Borough Green and the M25 J5 for Sevenoaks at 12:57 yesterday.
"One fire engine attended and crews extinguished the fire.
"There were no reported injuries and the cause is not known."
A spokesman for police said: "Kent Police was called at 12.52pm on Sunday to a vehicle fire on the hard shoulder of the M26 close to junction 2a.
"Officers and fire crews attended and the fire was put out at around 1.20pm.
"There were no reported injuries. Police left the scene at 3.20pm."
