A brain injury association in Kent is launching two new drop-in venues this month.
Headway in West Kent seeks to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and at a local level, provide information, support and services.
It is launching to new venues in Maidstone and Edenbridge.
The drop-in is a social space for people over the age of 18 who have been affected by a brain injury.
Visitors are welcome to stop for a drink and a chat with people with similar life experiences.
Families, carers and friends are also welcome to attend.
A wide range of information will be available with staff and volunteers on hand to give advice and signpost to alternative Headway services and external organisations.
There will be a regular programme of speakers to provide specialist information
The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, with just a small donation for refreshments.
Drop In venue, time and dates:
Maidstone: Last Thursday of every month from Thursday, May 28, 10.30am to 12.30pm at Trinity Foyer, 20 Church Street.
Edenbridge: First Wednesday of every month from Wednesday, May 6, 1.30pm-3.30pm at The Eden Centre, Four Elms Road.
