A deer running around on the tracks forced train services running through Knockholt to be delayed.
The animal found its way onto the tracks from one of the nearby fields which home hundreds of the antlered creatures.
Services were cautioned while officers worked to get the deer to safety.
Southeastern tweeted: "Due to a deer running around on the track, services through #Knockholt are being cautioned, until the deer is safely off the tracks."
The train company has now confirmed the animal is safe and free, away from the railway.
