Two police officers have been left injured after their patrol car was reportedly rammed in a police chase.
Kent Police's roads policing unit tweeted about the incident which took place in Sevenoaks.
It led to a man being arrested, after the white Ford Transit Van managed to shake off the officers earlier.
One of the tweets, sent in the early hours of the morning, said two officers had suffered minor injuries.
It comes as another police chase led to a similar incident on the Isle of Sheppey.
A police spokesman said: "In the early hours of this morning officers on patrol requested a vehicle to stop on Wickenden Road, Sevenoaks.
"The vehicle, a white ford transit van, is reported to have failed to stop and a pursuit was authorised.
"At approximately 12.30am the vehicle being pursued made contact with a police car multiple times before making away from the scene.
"An area search took place following the collision and the vehicle was located. A 38-year-old man from Sevenoaks has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, assault on police and driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
"Two police officers sustained injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment."
