M25 delays after crash between Junction 6 at Godstone and Junction 5 at Sevenoaks, with three-mile queues on M26

Emergency services were called to a crash on the M25 which has been leading to delays of more than an hour.
A crash at Junction 6 A22 (Godstone) had been causing heavy congestion to Junction 5 M26/A21 (Sevenoaks) since about 4.30am.
It led to the exit slip road at Junction 6 clockwise of the M25 closing shortly before 6am.
It has since reopened shortly after 8am.
As a knock-on effect, motorists have been facing delays of three miles on the M26.
There are also delays on the M25 clockwise from J2 for the A2 Darenth Interchange following the crash.
Two lanes out of four on the stretch of motorway shut while recovery work was carried out.
They have since reopened.
National Highways says delays exceeded 60 minutes on approach and that fire services were at the scene.
South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb) has confirmed nobody reqiured hospital treatment following the crash.
