A beloved pet dog believed to have have been stolen has now been reunited with his owner.
Jordan Juniper said he was living a "nightmare" when his 10-month-old Caucasian Shepherd called Ivar went missing from his home in Knockholt on Thursday.
The 26-year-old launched a social media campaign to find the missing hound, who had last been seen in his pen in the front garden of the bungalow on Old London Road.
When he came back at 3pm to take him for a walk, the dog, who weighs about 50kg, was missing and the padlock on his pen had been cut and left on a nearby chair.
The good news that Ivar is now reunited with Mr Juniper was shared on Facebook earlier this evening.
Following the disappearance, a witness claimed to have seen Ivar being loaded from one van into another at the car park of a nearby restaurant.
Mr Juniper said: "I just wanted to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has helped bring Ivar back to me.
"It's been a whirlwind last few days and without everyone's help I wouldn't if been reunited with my boy."
He added that he had been blown away by the support he had received and wanted a way for people to keep in touch with Ivar, so he set up an Instagram page for him, @ivartheco.
