Sevenoaks teen arrested after Kent Police find baton

A teenager has been arrested after officers seized a baton from a discarded rucksack.
The 17-year-old boy was stopped by police in Oakdene Road, in Sevenoaks.
The Community Policing Team had been speaking to members of the public on Friday afternoon, when the boy made off and dumped his bag.
The teen, from Dunton Green, was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.
He was later released pending further investigation.
