Two people have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after a wheel clamp was illegally removed from a van.
Police attended St James' Road in Sevenoaks at 9.40pm yesterday, after reports of suspicious behaviour.
Officers seized a clamp which was found on the passenger's seat of a Mercedes Sprinter van.
It is alleged the clamp had previously been fixed to a wheel of the van by the DVLA.
A 38-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, both from the town, were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage, and remain in police custody.
