At about 10.20am, it is reported a teenage boy forcibly placed his arms around her but she was able to break free and run off.

She was then helped by a man and woman walking their dog who escorted her to a ticket office to meet with police.

But before officers could arrive the couple had left the office.

Police in the park had arrested a boy on suspicion of the offence and he was charged.

The 16-year-old from Seveonaks was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Friday. He was released on bail and will next appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on March 17.

Investigators believe the dog walkers could have vital information to assist with their inquiries and would like to speak with them or any other witnesses who might be able to help police.
