Woman suffers cuts and bruises after attempted robbery in Edenbridge High Street

A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital after being injured in an attempted mugging.
Officers are appealing for information after two men tried to rob the victim's handbag in Edenbridge.
At around 9.10am yesterday, the woman was walking from the High Street into Lingfield Road when she was approached by two men.
They are then alleged to have assaulted her while demanding money.
One tried to take the victim’s handbag but she managed to keep hold of it.
The two men then walked off empty-handed into the High Street.
They are described as white and in their 20s. Both were wearing dark clothing, black woollen hats and black face coverings.
DC Billie-Louise Mills, of the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad, said: "The victim suffered cuts and bruises, and went to hospital for medical attention after the incident.
"Investigators are examining CCTV in the area and we are urging witnesses or anyone with information to call the appeal line.
"We are also asking motorists with dashcam and residents with privately held CCTV, to check for footage that may assist the investigation."
