Man from Clacton-on-Sea arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after altercation Sheerness High Street

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after leaving the scene of an altercation.
Three men were reported to have been involved in a dispute in Sheerness High Street at 12.38am this morning.
Then one of them, who was reported to be drunk, left the scene in a van.
Officers searched the area and located the vehicle in St George’s Avenue, Sheerness.
A 30-year-old man from Clacton-on-Sea was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
He was released under investigation.
