Air ambulance called to three-car crash on Lower Road in Minster

The air ambulance was called after several people were injured in a three-car crash.
The collision happened on the Lower Road, Minster on the Isle of Sheppey, just before 8pm yesterday (September 15).
The road was temporarily closed between Scocles Road and Thistle Hill Way while emergency services attended.
Kent Police said: “We were called at 7.57pm to a report of a three-car collision in Lower Road, Minster.
“Several people were taken to a local hospital, but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
“Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing.”
A spokesman for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance said: “Our crew arrived on scene at 8.21pm where they worked with SECAmb, Kent Police, and Kent Fire and Rescue Service to help treat the patient, involved in a road traffic collision.
“The patient was then transported to hospital by road.”
