Dartford man arrested following alleged assault outside pub in Leysdown Road, Leysdown-on-Sea, on Sheppey

A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening a woman and punching her vehicle while she was inside.
It is said the suspect approached the stationary white van while it was parked near a pub in Leysdown Road, Leysdown-on-Sea, on Sheppey.
He reportedly threatened the woman, who he knew, while she was sitting inside, and punched the vehicle.
Police patrols were called to the scene and a 47-year-old man from Dartford was arrested.
He was later bailed to return to the police station pending further inquiries.
Investigators are now appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at around 5.35pm on Saturday (September 28).
