Staff at TSB Sheerness hold beach themed fundraiser
00:01, 22 August 2015
A little bit of sunshine was brought to a wet and miserable day thanks to banking staff.
Employees at TSB in Sheerness High Street ditched their uniforms for Hawaiian shirts as part of a fundraiser in aid of its chosen charity of the year, Blue Town Heritage Centre.
To encourage customers to part with their money, jelly cocktails and cakes were for sale.
There was also a chance to win prizes donated by Island businesses by taking part in a lucky dip, a tombola and a raffle.
The event, which was held last Friday, brought in £150.
It takes the total amount raised since the campaign began in April to about £800.
