Buses to replace trains between Gillingham and Faversham on Sunday
14:50, 27 January 2018
Engineering work is set to cause disruption to services tomorrow (Sunday) as the railway line between Gillingham and Faversham is closed.
Buses are set to replace trains along two routes, as Southeastern urges passengers to check before they travel.
The works will impact London Victoria routes heading to and from Canterbury East, Ramsgate and Dover Priory, as well as the Sittinbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea, London St Pancras International 'rounder' service.
A replacement bus service will run between Gillingham and Faversham and also between Sheerness-on-Sea.
Cyclists are reminded non-folding bicycles are not allowed on replacement bus services at any time.
The closure will last throughout Sunday.
