Police found more than they were expecting after being called to a break-in.
Officers were called at 11.25pm on Sunday to reports of a burglary taking place at a business in New Road, Sheerness.
But when they arrived they found cannabis plants.
A police spokesman said he was not clear on the exact number of plants found.
An investigation is now underway to try to figure out how they got there.
Last May, officers uncovered about 750 cannabis plants in a house in the same road metres away from a primary school.
