A car was badly damaged in an arson attack.

A crew from Sheppey was called to the blaze in Medway Road, Sheerness, at 10.10pm yesterday (Monday).

The Renault Megane was parked on the road and was mainly burnt inside.

Firefighters were there for 25 minutes.

Police were also called and confirmed they are investigating an arson.
