A blue saloon car was engulfed by flames in Seaside Avenue, Minster, today.

Fire-fighters wore breathing apparatus to put out the blaze just before noon.

There were no reported injuries but the engine compartment was destroyed and most of the plastic front panels were melted in the heat.

It is believed the cause of the fire was an electrical fault.
