Fire crews tackled a car blaze which spread to the ground floor of an office building and workshop.
Three fire engines were sent to Milfab Engineering in Regis Industrial Estate, Dorset Road, Sheerness, at about 10.40pm last night.
They went inside with breathing apparatus to put out the blaze.

They left shortly after 1am this morning after damping down the area.
Today workers were working inside after part of it was gutted.
Manager Kamal Shaikh said: "The first I heard of it was when I turned up here for work at 5am this morning.
"The police still haven't come yet to talk to us about it.
"We've got a lot of work to do with mending the door, which the firefighters broke to get in.
"The only thing I can think of is that the car was some sort of crime evidence and they wanted to destroy it.

"It's done a lot of damage. Our inspection equipment is totalled from the water they used to put it out.
"It's going to take a lot of money to put it right, we're talking tens of thousands of pounds.
"There's only three of us who work here so production loss is going to be high, while we get back up and running."
Mr Shaikh added the ceiling needs refitting and copper pipes will have to be mended.
A police spokesman confirmed officers were called.
They added: "Although the cause of the fire is currently unknown, the circumstances are believed to be suspicious.
