Child hit by car at St George's Primary School, Chequers Road, Minster, Sheppey

Police were called after a child was hit by a car outside a school.
Officers were sent to St George's Primary School in Chequers Road, Minster, Sheppey, at 3.49pm to reports of a car hitting the pupil.
Medics were also called.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are currently investigating the incident. No arrest has been made."
The ambulance service has been contacted for comment.
On its Facebook page the school posted: "As I am sure many of you are aware there was a traffic incident involving a pupil after school today. The pupil was looked after by the emergency services. We would like to thank our parents and staff who offered their support and comfort. We wish the pupil a speedy recovery and our thoughts and prayers are with the family."
