Child hurt in accident in Queenborough Road, Halfway, Sheppey

A schoolgirl believed to be around 13 has been flown to hospital after suffering head injuries.
The youngster was hit by a car in Queenborough Road, Halfway, close to the junction with Holmside Avenue.
Two ambulances, the air ambulance and the police were called to the scene at 3.35pm.
The girl received treatment on the field of the nearby Stevedores club.
Traffic in the area is now flowing normally.
