Child suffers shock after car crash

A child was taken to hospital suffering from shock after a three-car smash.
A Corsa, a Zafira and a Mercedes were all involved in the accident at the Queenborough Corner lights at 11.30am on Saturday.
Police and paramedics were called and an 11-year-old was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital after being treated at the scene for shock.
The road was closed for almost an hour and a half.
No one else was injured.
The female driver of one of the cars was reported for summons for driving with no insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, contravening a red traffic light, using a mobile whilst driving and careless driving.
